The 100 voice strong St. Augustine Community Chorus, along with the St Augustine Youth Chorus announce the presentation of one of St Augustine's most loved holiday traditions - The 67th Annual Christmas and Holiday Concert , "Christmas Tableaux - Peace, Hope, Joy and Awe", under the direction of Michael Sanflippo with accompaniment by a chamber orchestra.
Chorus members are looking forward to performing beautiful and festive works ranging from traditional to contemporary, including choruses from G. F. Handel's "Messiah" which will include the crowd favorite singalong of the "Hallelujah Chorus."
The performance will take place on Saturday, December 12th at 8:00 PM and Sunday, December 13th at 2:00 PM at the Cathedral Basilica in beautiful downtown St. Augustine. Advanced tickets for the upcoming concert may be purchased at these supportive businesses: Music Matters, Carter's Jewelry, Flowers by Shirley, Herbie Wiles Insurance, The Print Shop, Southern Horticulture and The Bell Tower Gift Shop. Ticket prices are: $20 in advance; $25 at the door; $5 for Students OR online: StAugustineCommunityChorus.org

Article Title
There will be no Gathering in December, due to the many holiday celebrations occurring in town. We will see you again on January 12 (place to be announced).
Our sincere thanks to Amici Restaurant for graciously hosting our November Gathering and Annual Membership Meeting again this year. As always, their hors d'ouevres were amazing!
We'd also like to thank the wonderfully talented performer Amy Hendrickson for providing the entertainment for us. Amy plays regularly at many local restaurants, and recently produced a collaborative album and documentary, "Local Honey," telling the story of the St. Augustine music scene, past and present as a snapshot of the blue collar musician.
The November Gathering was also the inauguration of Romanza's newly-elected Board of Directors - Albert Syeles, Kathleen Vande Berg, Anne Kraft, Pat Syeles and Linda Hof. (Kathy was away on a well-deserved vacation and unable to attend.)
Our thanks to Walter O'Kon for performing the induction ceremony and for bringing with him fellow members of The Clay County Sheriff's Office Pipes & Drums, who performed for us.
A regular feature of the Gatherings is our Spotlight, where members of St. Augustine's arts and culture organizations announce their upcoming plans and events for the new season.
