To the Great Americans of Operation Support our Troops America,
Thank you so much for your very generous and thoughtful care packages that we received this summer!  The packages were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed everything in them.  It was very kind of you to think of us.  On top of the great treats, we really enjoyed the letters from the children and teens we received. 

To provide some information as to whom, and where, your packages went - we are a military advisory group located in the capital.  We work with our Afghan counterparts assisting them with building up their military in its nascent stage.  We represent all of the US serviceces and have a few international officers as well.  Most of us are on a year long deployment and receiving letters and care packages are a huge morale boost.  We can't thank you enough!

I realize from the references in the letters that the packages and cards were sent sometime back in the spring. Unfortunately with mail and distribution systems here, we did not receive the packages until much later than when they were sent.  The good news is that all of the items in the packages were perfect, and I have to report, they did not last long!  So, sorry for the delay n responding and wer truly appreciate the great work you are doing to support our forces deployed.  Best to you all!
