GROWING CONCERN OVER SAFETY OF ATHLETES PLAYING CONTACT FOOTBALL
Young football players today are playing too much contact football, in fact they are  ALWAYS playing, There's little opportunity to work on their individual game, BUT even more importantly they are constantly beating down their bodies physically, and not spending enough time developing the strength, speed and skill required to compete at the next level.   With the way the various leagues are set up today...
  • Summer ball (avg. 11 games incl. playoffs)
  • High school season (avg. 12 games incl. playoffs)
  • Padded winter camps and all-star tryouts during the winter months
  • Padded spring all-star games up until summer
... Many young athletes are playing close to 30 football games in a single year.  That is DOUBLE the U.S. average whether it's high school or NCAA.

30 games a year also means  30 games worth of collisions and head impacts which have a SIGNIFICANT influence on the number of concussions we're seeing in young players.
