Hello Kringles!

 
This week, Santas are beginning to arrive at a few malls.  And in the coming weeks, you will see and hear more about the arrivals of Santa, and even a few Mrs. Claus, arriving at your favorite shopping locations.  

 

Of course, all of this means that work on DiscoverSanta2016 is going to slow down.  I too, and many of our committee members are also starting our work.  

 

To coinside with this there is the release of the "Red Suit Survey" and the "Mrs. Claus Survey results.  The statistics from the surveys will give the public and media a special insight into who Santa and Mrs. Claus are.   Watch for the special newsletter announcing the results!

 

Also in this newsletter we have information on "Meet the Kringles" the fashion show that will preceed our Gala Banquet at DS2016.

 

We are pleased that the Indiana Santas, led by Santa Larry Shaw, will be coordinating and directing the Fashion Show.  The theme is "Red is the new Black."  It will be a lot fo fun.

2015 Red Suit Survey and Mrs. Claus Survey Results

He is 63.5 years of Age!
He weights an average of 252.1 pounds!
And his favorite cookie is . . . . . . . .

Yes the results of the 2015 Red Suit Survey are in.  Plus we have the results of the Mrs. Claus Survey, too!

A fantastic 553 Santas, and 121 Mrs. Claus, participated in and responded to our 2015 Surveys.  And I am please to now post the results.  To view either of them, just click on the links below:

Saturday Evening at DS2016 will be a special celebration with all Santas and Mrs. Claus invited to "dress to impress."  

The festivities begin in the Grand Ballrom of the Chateau on the Lake, during the Pre-Gala reception.

There we will enjoy "Meet the Kringles," a special fashion show featuring your fellow Santas and Mrs. Claus, who will be presenting the finest in Santa and Mrs. Claus attire.  The theme for the fashion show is "Red is the New Black!"

Chairman, Santa Larry Shaw, and the Indiana Santas and Mrs. Claus, will be producing the Fashion Show.   

Plans are to feature the best outfits from our favorite designers, plus many custom outfits created by the Santas and Mrs. Claus themselves.  There will also be some casual and fun wardrobe presented.

Even though the Kringle Family Showcase will not open until next July 6, we want everyone to know that they can still contact these vendors now for special 2105 Christmas offers.

DS2016 REGISTRATION 

Registration and Sign-Ups for Discover Santa 2016 is an ongoing task being head up by Taunya Lay at Branson Ticket and Travel (BT&T). She coordinated our 2006 convention and with the team of experts at BT&T she is again doing a fantastic job. 

We have packages to fit every Santa and Mrs. Claus' pocket book. Click here to view the Registration Page.

We set up the convention registration knowing full-well that most of the convention attendees would be Seniors and those on controlled or limited income flow.  We do need an initial deposit, but after that you can pay something monthly.  The balance needs to be paid on or around March 1, 2016.  Taunya can give you all the details.   

By the way, deposits for those not needing a hotel room are much less.

You can view all of the packages on our web site and submit your registration at any time.

Once your registration form is received, Taunya will contact you.  Usually within 48 hours. She will review your registration and work with you in paying for your registration.  If you need, she can work with you in splitting up the payments.
