Book of Remembrance
is
available on the right side altar of the church. All those mentioned in the book will be remembered throughout the month of November.
Those we love don't go away,

Young at Heart

Wednesday, November 11
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 11 at 6:30 pm in the parish center. Group 3 has refreshments. We will be playing cards. We also will be collecting canned goods for the Food Pantry.

Scouting For Food
|
The Boy Scouts from Troop 19 and the Cub Scouts from Pack 19 will participate in the Annual Scouting For Food
.
- The Scouts distributed bags to area homes the morning of November 14
- will return on Saturday, November 21 to collect the non-perishable items.
Within hours of the Scouting For Food pickup, these items will be on the shelves of the Community Interfaith Food Pantry, available for those in need. The Food Pantry is very low on food items and paper products. Please support this worthwhile cause!
If your house is missed, please bring your items to the church
and they will be forwarded to the Food Pantry.

High School/College Students: +CBAY Luke 18 2016 Retreat Team Now Forming
The Luke 18 2016 Retreat will be held
February 5-7
at St. Mary's Parish in Belleville. We are currently looking for a group of enthusiastic, passionate, loving teens to create a faith-filled and fun weekend for our 6th-8th grade youth! The Luke 18 Retreat Team consists of two major groups: the Disciple Team and the Guardian Team. The Disciple Team members work directly with the Lukers
(the 6th-8th graders)
throughout the weekend. The Guardian Team members are the "behind-the-scenes" people who help the retreat flow as smoothly as possible.
If you are interested in learning more or to apply to be on the team, please email

for more information and an application. Planning meetings will start in December and space on the team is limited, so please turn in your application as soon as possible.

The St. Vincent de Paul Youth Conference is gearing up for its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner held at St. Luke's Church Hall on Thanksgiving Day,
November 26
, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We are asking St. Teresa Church to provide
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
for the day. Please have the Sweet Potatoes at St. Luke's Kaiser Hall after 9:00 am on Thanksgiving Day

Please do NOT put any nuts or pork into any of your dishes due to some people's allergies.
