The LAPD will hold a Town Hall at 6PM tonight - Thursday

to review current events in Venice. Tuesday night, a police officer-involved shooting occurred on Windward Ave near Ocean Front Walk, leading to the death of the victim.

Alberca has called a community meeting at 6pm on Thursday, May 7 (TONIGHT), at Westminster School, 1010 Abbot Kinney. In attendance will be Inspector General Alexander Bustamante, LAPD Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff, LAPD Deputy Chief Beatrice Girmala and CD11 Councilmember Mike Bonin.
