2014 is a banner year, marking 30 years of learning, sharing and growing skills & knowledge!

The Connecticut Land Conservation Conference is the state's largest annual conservation gathering and CLCC's premier event. Now in its 30th year, the annual Conference provides an opportunity for affordable and dynamic training for members of the state's conservation community, including volunteers, staff and board members from Connecticut's 137+ land trusts, land use professionals and volunteers, municipal commission members, advocates, environmental educators, students and others interested in land conservation..

This year's Conference is bigger than ever!  There is something of interest and relevance for everyone!

Plenary Session - Speakers and Awards

The 2014 Conference will feature several esteemed leaders from the public and private sectors who will share their insights on the topic of "The Economic Benefits of Open Space", particularly as they relate to the benefits that state parks, nature-based recreation, forestry and agriculture provide to our economy and quality of life in Connecticut.  Further details about the plenary session speakers are coming soon!

The Plenary Session will also include a presentation of our
Excellence in Conservation Organization Award and the Katchen Coley Award for Excellence in Land Conservation, recognizing outstanding achievements in land conservation by organizations and individuals, respectively. Nominations are due by February 3. Click here for more information.
