Detroit Artists Market: We the Vehicles: A Tribute to Detroit Bicycle Culture

The Detroit Artists Market partnered with Back Alley Bikes to present, We The Vehicles: A Tribute to Detroit Bicycle Culture. DAM artists were given the opportunity to utilize scrapped bicycle parts, provided by Back Alley Bikes, to create a cycling-inspired work of art.

Former Self and a Bright Future is a synthesis of various materials, objects and imagery, from which to explore connections between humanity's past, present and future. The title of the show itself creates a Janus face; one side looking backwards/inwards towards the past and the other, forwards/outwards, towards a potential future.
