Youth Emergency Shelter and Services (YESS).
YESS has been providing services to runaway, homeless, abused and troubled youth for over 40 years and offers emergency shelter, crisis nursery care, counseling and case management services, and family stabilization and assessment.
After the tour, Young Variety will host a social hour at Confluence Brewery starting at 7:00 p.m. Food will be provided by Jersey Mikes. RVSP via Facebook or email
Jon Phillips, YV Membership Chair.
Young Variety is using crowd funding platform Change Heroes to fund a specialized bike for a 12-year-old Mason City boy named Brayden.
Brayden has
experienced a wide range of challenges in his life from brain surgeries to seizures. He is unstable on his feet making him unable to ride a traditional bike.
Young Variety is seeking donations to raise $3,000 for a specialized bike to allow Brayden to safely experience outdoor activities while providing therapeutic benefits at the same time. Donations can be made
here.
