F or 32 years the Gala & Auction has been the centerpiece for raising funds for the Adaptive Sports Foundation. Join us February 6th, 2016 to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and volunteers, and to help support the Foundation for another successful year.  
Zach Elder returns to the 
X Games
 
For the second year in a row, Zach Elder, ASF Snowboard Race Team member, is returning to the X Games in Aspen to compete in the Special Olympics Unified Snowboard Experience Races.   Click here for more information on Zach's X Games experience.  

Warriors in Motion Learn to Ski and Snowboard weekend

The ASF was proud to host the 12th annual Learn to Ski and Snowboard event for United States soldiers and Marines injured during recent tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.  ASF partnered with Wounded Warrior Project® and  Windham Mountain Resort to bring 21 wounded servicemen and women and their families to Windham Mountain on January 7th-10th, 2016 for three days of winter sports activity, fun and relaxation.  Click here to see videos and photos from this year's event.


Staci Mannella returns 
to World Cup circuit 

Staci Mannella, Adaptive Sports Foundation Race Team alum, staged a big return to the Paralympic world by winning World Cup gold at the first two stops of the alpine skiing tour. After taking a year off to complete her freshman year of college, Mannella returned to the slopes with a new guide, Sadie DeBaun, from Park City. The ladies didn't waste time gathering their first podium as they won World Cup gold in the slalom in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia and followed up with slalom and giant slalom gold in Tarvisio, Italy. They move on to St. Moritz where they will have two more world cup starts on January 22nd and 23rd.

The Master Chef Celebration is an amazing opportunity to experience the cuisine of dozens of New York City's most well-known chefs and restaurants.  It will be an evening spent tasting signature dishes and fine wines, along with a live and silent auction. The Adaptive Sports Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project® are proud to be a part of this great event.  The evening will feature celebrity chef, Carla Hall, co-host of ABC's The Chew, past Top Chef competitor, restaurateur, and author as the evening's MC and host.  Click here to learn more about the Master Chef Celebration.
