The CDC reminds us that mask and eye protection and face shields are for protection of 
critical areas of the face against dangerous microorganisms.

 
The Walking Working Surfaces and Personal Fall Protection Systems rule first proposed 
by OSHA in 1990 to reduce workplace slips, trips, and falls has been withdrawn from 
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) review by OSHA.
 
 
Peter Osborne, Plant Manager at Scott Safety in Skelmersdale, explains why shutting

The new regulation prescribes, for workers exposed to noise, a maximum time-weighted 
exposure limit of 85 decibels over an eight-hour work shift. 

 
Having changed very little since implementation, the PPE rules are now in need of updating, 
to reflect the new technologies that are now employed in bringing PPE to market. 
A draft version of a new regulation has, therefore, been debated and approved by the 
European Commission and Parliament.
