JENNIFER DUKELOW- Arcadia Graduate, Class of 2001!

It is obvious Mrs. Dukelow loves math... even her cat's name is math-related:
Pi (π)!!   One of her biggest joys of teaching is helping a student love math for the first time.

SAT, PSAT, ACT, Subject tests, NEW SAT, OLD SAT????

Many students and parents have questions about which tests to take and when to take them. I am always happy to answer questions about the testing process. Students can prepare for the tests by signing up for group courses or scheduling individual tutoring sessions. The next group course for the ACT begins Sept. 11th. The next group course for the new format SAT will begin in January. The current course schedule is available on the website www.LindaEdgarTutorandSATprep.com.

I am a certified teacher and Reading Specialist. The programs I offer include diagnostic placement testing for Reading and Math, individualized programs to re-teach skills, and enrichment programs. I also offer tutoring for students in grades 1-12 for assistance with homework and preparing for classroom tests.

My center is conveniently located on 45th place just a 5 minute walk from Arcadia High School.

**If you have any recent PSAT, SAT & ACT and/or any college prep books that you are no longer using, please bring to College & Career Center.  They will be put to good use!**

Juniors:

It is very important that if you may want to attend a four year college/university, you take the PSAT on October 28th. This will be prepartaion for the re-designed and new SAT that rolls out in March.  Those of you with very good GPA's (mostly A's and B's), and who did well on the PSAT as sophomores, should consider taking the present SAT at least once through the January 23rd test date.  The scores on the PSAT for juniors determine if you could be a possible National Merit Scholar, which is a source of generous scholarship money.

Sign up in Arcadia's bookstore by October 21.  Registration cost: $20.
