Imagine this cold snap with a broken furnace.

Community Action's Weatherization Program has made 60 emergency furnace repairs and 20 furnace replacements since October, with the coldest part of the year still to come!

A parent in the Evansville School District writes:

"I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you and all of work you put into organizing the Evansville Toy drive. My children had the best Christmas to date this year. They got their top toys from their wish lists, a few extra items that they really needed (scarves, gloves, hats!) and such nice clothing was purchased for them! My youngest got a box that contained 3 baby sleepers! I was overwhelmed with joy; she really needed those warm winter sleepers.  The holiday meal, wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, bows...I mean you covered everything that I needed to provide my family with a beautiful Christmas Day- words can't even tell you how grateful I am."
Enough snow! We want to golf!

We're already thinking ahead to warm weather and sunny skies with the 18th Annual Twin Oaks Golf Outing.

This year's event will be Monday, June 13 at Abbey Springs Golf Course in Fontana.

$125 per golfer, $500 per foursome.

All proceeds benefit Twin Oaks Shelter!
