II was gifted a book from my coach and mentor, Trina Gray called The Compound Effect, by Darren Hardy. This quote resonated with me, " Our choices can be our best friend or our worst enemy. They can deliver us to our goals or send us orbiting into a galaxy far, far away. Each choice starts a behavior that over time becomes a habit. In essence, you make choices and then your choices make you"

I have since been looking closely at some of the choices I have made and decided to fix the ones that need cleaning up.

What choices are you going to make this month? If you have decided you want kick a bad habit then you better make it easy for yourself. Want to start eating clean healthy meals with more fruits, vegetables and quality proteins? The first thing to do is clean out your pantry of the processed foods. Don't feel bad about the rest of the family. You are doing them a favor! Next when heading to the store or farmers market fill your cart with beautiful colored produce, low fat dairy, lean proteins and legumes. Take pride in the gorgeous basket you filled.

You are also able to choose who you surround yourself with...Ever notice when you are with negative people (I call them energy sucking vampires) how your mood can change? Find those people that light you up! Life is way too short for the nonsense that is created by some people.

So this July let's create some new habits with great choices!

Sunshine, Sweat, and Soul

 

Are you ready for 3 weeks of Fitness, Fun, Health, Accountability, and Organization? 


 

If so, I would like to invite you to our online challenge. As you may know, I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 25 years. Last year, I obtained my ACE Health Certification and had been looking for a way to reach more than just my in town clients. There are also many of you who work and aren't able to come to my studio or the cost may not fit in your budget. 

 

So I have started an online challenge that has been very successful! I'm partnering up with the very talented, organized, strong, and fierce woman, Rena Wilensky. Together, we will coach you for 3 weeks of Fitness, Nutrition, and Soul. 

 

Our challenge will begin Monday, July 13th thru Friday, July 31st, and our theme is "Sunshine, Sweat, and Soul". We'll share tips together in an easy and fun interactive Facebook Group page for 3 weeks while eating well, exercising, and sharing tips on those things that touch our souls. 


 
Who participates? Upbeat, genuine women, who are into fitness, willing to clean up their eating, and like to laugh, learn, and make new fit friends. If you're interested, message me and we'll see if it's a good fit! We will offer awesome food plans, a health food shake with super foods, and tons of camaraderie. Remember this is all online, so you can participate from anywhere! If you have a female friend who needs a boost of support or just wants to be adventurous, please let her know about this! Bring on the SWEAT!

Saturday Class Announcement:

Due to the Holiday weekend, there will be no Saturday class this week on July 4th. Workout 32789 wishes everyone a Happy Independence Day and make sure you all stay safe and have a wonderful time.

 

Our Saturday class will be back to normal next week, July 12th, and if you haven't given this class a try yet come out this Saturday at 8:00am and come give it a shot! $110! It's a fun Co-Ed class that's exciting and great for everyone.

What's do you like most about
 training at Workout 32789? 
   

I am constantly challenged and pushed to do my best both physically and mentally.  No workout is the same.   The environment is supportive and fun and positive.  I can train on my own, with a partner or in a group.  Judi shares my love of a good challenge and constant improvement...she inspires me. 
 

What do you like most about
working out? 


I see steady improvement in my fitness.  I feel focused and energetic when I finish.  I love setting goals and meeting them. It makes me smile.

Recipe of the Month
Fresh Berries w/ Maple Cream

Don't stress about pleasing your guests with this dessert. It's easy, quick, and low-calorie. Fruits, especially berries, are a great source of disease-fighting antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
Preparation

Combine sour cream and maple syrup in a small bowl; stir with a whisk.


 

Combine berries, and spoon into dessert dishes; pour maple cream over berries.
