Camp Summit Registration Opens
|
Camp Summit for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative is now bicoastal! Camp Summit West will take place June 19-25 in the Marin Headlands, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
All new Camp Summit East will take place August 7-13 in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, to serve the needs of families on the eastern seaboard.
Camp Summit is a week-long overnight summer camp designed specifically for gifted students ages 9 through 15.

New Professionals in Walnut Creek
|
Summit Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Ginny Ritchey,
licensed clinical psychologist, and Michele Adamson, educational therapist, to Summit Center's Walnut Creek office.
Dr. Ritchey provides therapy, counseling, and consultation for children, adolescents, parents, and families. Previously, she worked as a behavior analyst at Anova Center for Education in San Rafael, as a behavior consultant for the South
San Francisco School District, and as a behavior supervisor for in-home programs serving children with Autism. Her areas of interest include neurological and behavioral childhood diagnoses such as ADHD, anxiety, and childhood depression; social skills development; and academic and intrinsic motivation. Michele Adamson, M. Ed., can help students improve their skills and achieve their educational goals. She is trained as both an educational therapist and academic life coach, and has over 20 years of experience, including as a G.E.D. school counselor, and educational software consultant.
