GOOD NEWS: SEI is an Approved Provider 
of  Play Therapy Continuing Education

The Association for Play Therapy (APT) has designated Southeast Institute for  Group and Family Therapy as an Approved Provider of Play Therapy Continuing Education. SEI is pre-approved to offer  play therapy CE workshops toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).  Learn more about the Association for Play Therapy at http://www.a4pt.org .

"For nearly 50 years, Southeast Institute has offered therapist training focused on helping therapists work effectively with adults, couples, families, and groups," SEI Director and President Vann Joines, PhD, said. "Adding play therapy training, which focuses on children and the child-parent relationship, is not only a natural extension of our attachment and family-based approaches, it brings us full circle in our mission to make the world a better place. We now offer therapy training that enhances every aspect of the family unit: the fundamental building block of society."

Group Therapy for Teen Girls

This therapy group, led by Emily Keller, PhD, will take place on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12 pm. It is designed to help teen girls get to know and celebrate who they really and uniquely are.

This group is open to everyone who works with energy healing, not just  ACEP  members.

Emily Keller recently traveled to Texas to attend a workshop on the developing brain, trauma, and play therapy.
