Church School Schedule
through September 6:
10:00 AM Worship
- Nursery for infants-age two in 09.
Age 3 to rising Grade Two participate in the first part of the worship service. After the Time with Children, they
are escorted by parents and church school teachers to their classes:
- Preschool Class (ages 3 & 4) in room 07/08.
- Rising Kindergarten - Grade Two in room 04.
Parents pick all children up in their rooms on the lower level following the end of the worship service.
Parents, Grandparents, Nassau Youth and other friends of children are all needed to help teach church school this summer. Please see the sign up link to the right!

| Dear Families,
Summer greetings! The start of school and fall programming is a few weeks off yet. I'll admit we are grateful at our house for the blessing of a later-Labor Day and start to school. I hope that you and your family are able to enjoy these last, slower weeks of sleeping in and beach trips or family vacations.
It has been a marvelous summer at our church. Each week was filled with either VBS (still thanking God for the great week!), youth trips and the Chancel Drama. I continue to be amazed at the dozens and dozens of volunteers who have stepped into leadership and made these many weeks so successful. The children and youth of our church will never forget these experiences. It is true ministry.
As the fall gets closer, we are busy putting pieces in place for our programming.
We still have some church school teaching openings - specifically in 2nd grade and the preschool class.
These classrooms are packed with great kids who need you (great adults!) to teach the faith and stories that unite us as a Christian community. No previous experience needed! Novices welcomed and encouraged.

Our shelves are empty...
When the Dietrich Johnson Nursery School closed in May, they donated their toys to HomeFront - what a generous gift to those families!
However, this has left our classrooms a bit bare.
Please help us replenish the toys and book shelves in our church school classrooms!
We are looking for good quality, durable toys (suitable for ages 2-5), in working condition - all pieces included! Please no Legos or small figures. We also need children's books.
Donations may be left in the Church Office during the week or on Sunday morning.
