THIS SUNDAY! 10:30 to 10:45 Meditation in the sanctuary. Participate in the special pre-service meditation with Bob Sima and Rev. Bronte from 10:30 to 10:45. Experience deep levels of oneness and "being in the moment" with the soul-lifting and inner-self-thrilling music of Bob Sima. Please note: If you arrive after the meditation has begun, please turn off any phones, quietly enter the sanctuary and take a seat.

Join us for Deeksha, also known as the "Oneness Blessing" this Sunday from 3:45 to 5:00.
Led by Mark Buhrke, Blessing Givers from Athens & Atlanta will bless the circle with the transfer of intelligent, sacred, gentle, loving energy. Oneness Blessings are held
on a Love offering basis with donations going toward the Unity Athens Expansion Fund.

Our Early Meditation Service started back up on Sept. 13.
Morning Quietude consists of gently guided meditation and often the presence of Reiki healers in a calm, comforting setting with soft music or deep silence. We're looking forward to an autumn of deep centering in Spirit. Join us in the lobby area from 9:40 to 10:20 for this time of peaceful meditation. Love offering basis.
Note: Morning Quietude will not be held in the lobby on Sept 27 as we will have a meditation with Bob Sima from 10:30 to 10:45 in the sanctuary.

New & Intriguing! Dream Interpretation Group meets for dream discussion, analysis, and insights led by Rev. Joyce Coffman. Find out about dream interpretation, the spiritual importance of dreams, and how you can learn to interpret dreams and their fascinating symbols. All are welcome. Consider bringing a lunch to eat on the porch or running out for a quick bite after the service.This group will continue every month with dates to be announced; attend when you are able. Joyce is an experienced dream interpreter and group leader with a background in the work of Joyce Rockwood Hudson, author of Natural Spirituality, and other books.

Town Hall Meeting for members and congregants, starting at 12:30, after the end of the Sunday service.Hosted by the Unity Athens Board of Trustees and Rev. Bronte, details will be given on our current and past finances, our current opportunity for a wonderful new location, and our vision and plans for the future. Included will be time for discussion and to answer any questions you many have.The meeting will be between an hour to an hour and a half and will be followed by a free lunch of salad and make-your-own sandwich options.

Our Annual Halloween Celebration will be held this year on Sunday, November 1. The potluck "Spooky Breakfast" is always a big hit and the 11:00 service is full of surprises. There will be Halloween activities for the Sunday School kids. Come in costume if you like -- it's always great fun. We are blessed to be graced once again with the music of the John Miley duo.

To achieve membership, there are several requirements: attendance at a New Member class, taught by Rev. Bronte, and all new members are asked to view the DVD, "What is New Thought?," which explores the history and philosophy of the New Thought movement, including Unity. We will have showings of this important documentary around the time of New Member classes, or you can purchase it online to watch. If you are transferring an active membership from another Unity church, please let us know. It is also highly recommended that you attend one of our book study groups for a deeper insight into Unity principles and teachings. There is no fee to take the New Member class or to become a member. These classes are open to all and are a good way to lean more about the Unity movement and Unity Athens. Check with Bronte for dates & schedules for classes, the movie showing, and the next opportunity to join Unity Athens.

John Strickland, this program, Affirmative Prayer Path, promises to help you align with your Higher Power and live the life you are meant to live. Study groups are now forming.
