President's Palette
Join us in Beaufort for our SCAEA State Conference November 13 - 15, 2015. Our theme is Landscapes, and we will explore the local vistas through plein air painting and photography, learn about the changing landscape of art education in South Carolina, and discover and share strategies with our colleagues through a variety of workshops and sessions.
General sessions include featured artists Seymour Simmons, photographer Eliot Dudik, an introduction to our new SCDE state art associate, and the unveiling of a new, exciting opportunity for SCAEA members. Evening events include our Artist Bazaar on Friday, and our Awards event and evening workshops on Saturday.
Your registration fee includes all General Sessions, our Student Film Festival, the Vendor Breakfast, Awards Celebration, and many workshops.

We are already planning Youth Art Month in Western Region. Mark your calendars! The exhibit will be at the South Carolina Governors School of the Arts and Humanities. The artwork will hang the week of M
onday, February 29th through Sunday, March 6th. Artwork is to be dropped off Thursday, February 25th and Friday, February 26th with the reception on Sunday, March 6th. More details closer to time!
