Greetings from Pastor John...

Dear AVCS Family, 
You know what they say - "Time flies when you're having fun!" As of this writing we are 21 days away from watching the class of 2015 walk across the stage as they prepare to begin the next phase of their life. I don't know about you, but the "ends" tend to make me reflective, so as the school year ends I look back and reflect on the year - both personally and professionally.
When we, as a family, reflect on this past year, and on AVC in general, we know that it is a blessing to have our four kids here at Apple Valley Christian! We believe that because of the blessing we have received, we need to give back. As a family we count it a blessing to be able to help out - to give back - at places, or with individuals, who have been a blessing to us.
So as you reflect on this past year, I would encourage you to give back to those who have blessed you. If AVC has been a blessing to you let me suggest some ways that you could give back.
- Help out in the lunchroom or on the playground
- Volunteer with PTF
- Help with a one of our fundraisers
- Come and lead a reading group with our younger kids
- Drive for a field trip
- Help clean our campus (Vacuum, weeding, take the trash out)
- Make a tax deductible donation (one time or monthly)
The Bible is true - "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35)

High School News... Mrs. Huff

This year has just flown by and as I have begun to reflect on all the great events and experiences of this past school year my mind wanders to the futures of the class that has now reached a milestone in their lives; The Graduating Class of 2015. They have run the race and now it is time to move to the next phase of their journeys.
Our graduating seniors have chosen a variety of college/career paths to follow. Some have made the decision to begin college at the Community College level and then transfer to their chosen four-year university while still others are moving directly into the four-year school of their choice. Many of the schools chosen include local Southern California private as well as public schools and some are venturing to out of state schools. The following is a small representation of the choices made by this year's Senior class:

It is with pride and prayer that I see The Class of 2015 go off into this big exciting world, but I know when God is for you, who can be against you? My prayer is to see them stay focused on His guidance and walking in His grace and love.

Spring Valley Lake Country Club Join us in supporting Apple Valley Christian School, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
- Entry $100 per player or $375 for a foursome
- Entry includes green fees, golf cart, range balls, continental breakfast, box lunch, and dinner buffet.
- Contests for Longest Drive & Closest to the Pin
- Raffle Tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20
Sponsorship Levels:
- Hole Sponsor - $100: company logo on a hole the day of outing, company logo on sponsor banner at entrance
- Blue Sponsor - $250: 2 individual entries in the tournament, company logo on a hole the day of outing, company logo on sponsor banner at entrance
- Gold Sponsor - $500: 1 foursome in the tournament, company logo on a hole the day of outing, logo on our school website, company logo on sponsor banner at entrance
