Early in 2014 the Miami Area Chamber of Commerce brought a group of business owners and community leaders together and formed a retail economic development (RED) committee.  A primary goal of this committee is to help bring new retail businesses to the area.  One way of helping to do that is having an electronic GIS map of all commercial property, both available and occupied by current businesses.  This will help site selectors quickly know what businesses are currently in town and what property is available for businesses interested in the area.

We want EVERY business and available property on the map.

There is no cost to participate.  The Miami Area Chamber of Commerce is providing this map as a service to the community, and once completed can be linked to any related website.
