JANUARY: DONATION BRINGS WARMTH TO HOMELESS VETERANS

Our first event in the 25 for 25 campaign was a donation to keep homeless veterans in the Cleveland area warm during the cold winter we experienced. Employees collected gloves, hats, jackets, sweaters, scarves and basic toiletries which were taken to the Cleveland Veterans Resource Center and given to more than 25 men temporarily housed there.

Ratliff & Taylor attended the International Services Center of Cleveland's Inaugural Golden Door Award Ceremony which honored Dr. Akram Boutros of MetroHealth for his contributions to the hospital and the community and as a fine example of the success that can be achieved after immigrating to the United States.

FEBRUARY: GO RED FOR WOMEN

During one of the coldest months on record, employees were permitted to wear jeans on any day of the week in February, provided they made a $5 donation to the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women campaign. In total, Ratliff & Taylor raised over $250 for the cause.

Each year on St. Patrick's Day, participants who have raised money are invited to get their heads shaved to stand in solidarity and raise awareness for childhood cancer.

Account Executive Ian Anderson partnered with the Greater Cleveland YMCA's youth program, We Run This City, to help raise funds and awareness for the program that helps students of Cleveland City Schools learn healthy lifestyle habits and dedicate themselves to a training program to run on race day.
NEW HANDOUTS SHOWCASE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

The team at Ratliff & Taylor created a series of helpful handouts to be given to employees, candidates, clients and contacts to help guide them through the process of conducting or preparing for an interview; launching or managing a job search; and thinking  more like a coach to motivate and  achieve greater results from both  themselves and others. These handouts  celebrate the institutional knowledge in  our organization and are meant to  provide  guidance.
