God is looking for some willing workers...people who will give of themselves and their substance to build the Kingdom of God. It has often said that the first step to progress or success is showing up. Indeed, it is truly the first step in service to God. One must present oneself to God as willing, able and ready to do God's will and God's work.

Often, we fail to see God's hand in our lives and to experience God's blessings on our lives because we are not willing to fully give ourselves to the work or task to which God has called us. When we come to God surrendered and submitted, God can take the fullness of our gifts and use them for God's glory and to bless God's people. God wants to use you. God desires to use your gifts and abilities to advance the purposes of the Kingdom.

Have you thoroughly and completely surrendered yourself to God? Have you put your hand to the Gospel plow without flinching or faltering? Are you sold out to and for the cause of Christ? Perhaps today is a good day to assess your willingness to serve God and your availability to God. You can play a vital part in the building of God's Kingdom. You can be a spoke in the wheel that carries the movement of justice and truth forward. You can decide today to join the army of the Lord. It begins by simply saying, "Here I am."
