Health Division offers Second Opportunity for students in health care programs

A number of programs in the Health Science division at Wallace State Community College still have openings for the Fall 2015 semester.

Students who did not get into their first-choice programs in the Health Division can look into other programs that may help them as they work toward entering their first-choice program or provide a new option that was unknown until now.

Students have completed general requirements and applied to other Health Division programs can have that application rerouted to another program in time to start classes this fall. Other student may simply want to find out more information about programs they are unfamiliar with.

The programs that still have openings for the Fall 2015 semester include (program, contact, awards offered):

Congratulations on reaching your goal of graduating from Wallace State Community College. Everyone at Wallace State is proud of all you have accomplished.

There are just a few more things to do before you receive your printed diploma. Go to www.wallacestate.edu/graduation to fill out your Graduation Application and see at short list of things you need to do apply for graduation from Wallace State. Graduation applications are due by July 1.

LAST WEEK FOR MUSEUM EXHIBITS

This is the last week for exhibits featuring the works of acclaimed Alabama folk artists Mose T and Jerry Brown, as well as the work of engineer/artist Leslie Wood at The Evelyn Burrow Museum. July 2 is the last day of all three exhibits.

The works by Mose T and potter Jerry Brown are on display in the museum, while Wood's artwork is in the exhibit hall of the Burrow Center for Fine and Performing Arts.

The Evelyn Burrow Museum is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The museum will be closed from July 3 through July 13 as it makes way for the Burrow Invitational Sculptors Exhibit.

REGISTRATION IS UNDER WAY

 

Registration for Fall 2015 is currently under way. Classes start on Thursday, August 13. The last day to register for fall classes is August 19.

 

The 2015 Fall Schedule and the 2015-2016 Course Catalog are available for review online.
