The Washington community joined us in the celebration of Pope Francis' visit to Manila at a broadcast of the mass in Luneta Park. Forum included a discussion of the Papal message and its importance to the Filipino people. Speakers included Cardinal Donald William Wuerl, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Rev. Father Michael Paris, and John Carr of Georgetown University.

A record 7million attended the Papal mass at the Luneta Park.

Keeping the Promise: Philippine Liberation's 70th Anniversary
Norfolk, Virginia

Amb. Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. headlined a forum to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Philippine Liberation in 1945 at the MacArthur Memorial Foundation in Norfolk, Virginia. Pictured with Amb. Cuisia are Executive Director Hank Hendrickson and Society member, Marilyn Rivera.

The 5000 square foot temporary exhibit will run until January 2017.
