The
General Assembly, whose 222nd session will be held in Portland ,Oregon, June 18-25, 2016, is a unique and moving experience as Presbyterians from across the nation gather with ecumenical representatives from around the world to worship, learn, deliberate and speak together as one body on many important issues in our church and the world.
The Committee on Representation and Nominations is excited to receive your nominations. Individuals may nominate themselves or you may submit a form nominating someone else. Travel expenses, registration fees and a per diem will be provided to the Presbytery's commissioners and youth advisory delegate. This is an incredible opportunity to see the church at work in the world!
As no nominations have yet been received for Young Adult Advisory Delegate, we particularly ask you to think of young adults you know who love the church and are excited to help shape its life. We're sure there are many of them out there...but they need to be nominated by you! Erica Restaino served as the YAAD in 2014 and you can read more about her experience
