Special thanks to Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine for conducting free physicals for our Gainesville Middle School and Gainesville High School student-athletes on July 9.  Many of our athletes took advantage of this awesome opportunity.  We are appreciative of the NGPG staff for volunteering their time and services to our students.

The Gainesville City Board of Education met for its Board Planning Retreat on Monday, July 13.  The Board went into Executive Session to discuss personnel matters and approved the personnel report submitted by district personnel.
