Spring is a busy time for the NC Triangle Chapter, and we have several big events coming up. May 14 will be our annual Go Gala which raises funds for college scholarships and outreach programs for middle and high school students, with 100% of the money going towards our Foundation Fund. This is our chapter's main fundraiser for the year, and it allows us to host our Transportation YOU mentor program and award annual scholarships locally. And, on May 19, we will be hosting a special members-only breakfast featuring State Sen. Kathy Harrington.

Additionally, the chapter received some great news earlier this month: we received the WTS International Circle of Excellence Gold Level status - the highest ranking there is! This program recognizes outstanding WTS chapters for their annual effort to achieve chapter operations benchmarks and shares those chapters' successful performances. Thank you for everything that you have done to make this happen. Our chapter is extremely proud!

As always, please check our  website for our upcoming events, and we hope to see you at the next event!

Professional Connections
For members looking for networking opportunities within the Chapter, consider joining the Professional Connections program. Each quarter, the members of the program are split into groups of four or five, and each group plans a lunch meeting. This is a good way to meet others in WTS.
