The Good Word
Lazarus House is now accepting reservations for "Unmasking the Face of Homelessness," a special Gala being held on January 16, 2016 at St. Charles Country Club.  Enjoy social hour filled with silent auction items, a mystery wine pull and background music by harpist Tina Barber. After dinner, experience a heartwarming presentation by Beth Mooncotch.  The live auction features trips to Orlando, Maui, & Puerto Rico.  Other live auction items include Disney Hopper Passes, an 11 piece patio set, a Joliet Autobahn Experience, a Dan Hampton Autographed Bears Jersey, Private Dinner Party at The Finery & Blacksmith Bar, Blackhawks tickets, and more!
 
Reservations are $100 per person with a cash bar and can be made by calling 630-587-2144.

Ambassador of the Month
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to 
announce Lori Lain as the
December Ambassador of the Month! 

Lori Lain, Sales Executive at Money Mailer, is an authentic representative of the Batavia Chamber! Lori possesses that positive "can do" attitude that makes her successful in everything that she does. Her positive team spirit is evident when she jumps in to help the Chamber whenever she can. Lori is a devoted Ambassador and attends as many Chamber functions as she can. You can see Lori as an Ambassador in action by the way she introduces new members and guests at networking events and luncheons and builds rapport with ease. She promotes the Chamber by describing the benefits of membership to all new and potential members she meets. Lori has successfully brought new members into the Chamber by being a terrific Ambassador! Lori's commitment and accomplishments are appreciated and highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber Staff and Membership. Congratulations, Lori!  Thank you for your excellent work!
