As the sun was setting one Saturday evening, Jesus ended his sabbath with night work. People were seeking his healing for themselves and for others. After working the evening shift, he awoke early and disappeared for awhile. They found him outside the city, lost in prayer. There he had found a clear sense of purpose.
We follow Jesus' model of rest and work. We gather in his name to be renewed and recharged. Through his teaching and healing, we gain clarity and purpose.

There is a critical need for blood
during the Christmas season and the days following. Nativity has been requested by the American Red Cross to host a blood drive on Thursday, January 7, 2:30 - 6:30 pm. You can give the gift of life by signing up at the church on Sundays; going online at
www.redcrossblood.org;
or call Corinne Feid at 606-3158. The Red Cross has something new called rapidpass. It shortens the time you spend behind the privacy screen where you answer questions on their computers. The rapidpass allows you to answer those same questions on your home computer (same day as donation).

If you have questions, talk with Corinne.
