The New Year is a time of inspiration; a time to reflect upon your hopes and dreams for your family, to review, and to set course toward your future.
Following the holidays, we have the opportunity to quiet the Soul Fever of the season and hone in on areas of potential change. It is a brilliant time to cull the holiday bounty within your environment, to regain rhythm, to simplify your schedule, and to remember the benefits of filtering what your children are exposed to.
It is also a wonderful time to foster compassion as a daily practice.
Carrie Thomas Scott completed the Simplicity Parenting Group Leader training in November 2013 and works as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Hailey, Idaho. Her years of working with families, being a mother to a wonderful daughter and wife of a Waldorf educator, inspire Carrie to help heal community and share the gifts of Simplicity.
