January 19th was the official opening of tax filing season for individuals. It's time to start gathering the supporting documents for your 2015 tax returns so you can fill out your Tax Organizer.  For security purposes, these will be sent via PORTAL unless you've requested otherwise. If you don't yet have a registered portal, you can easily set one up. The email notification to access your Organizer will come from   [email protected]. For Portal FAQ's, click here. 
 

Remember that you can only send us the Organizer once, so please complete it as best you can before sending. We will also need you to sign and return the Engagement Letter, which shows as an "Actionable Item" on your portal.
 

There are so many scams out there, especially during tax season.  Please be vigilant and always suspicious of any phone calls or emails asking for personal information, even if they claim to be IRS agents. Click  here for an example of a fraudulent email using the IRS.gov logo.
