Ayuda persists to better the lives of immigrants.

You are the force behind our mission and results. The support of generous donors, superb partners, outstanding pro-bono attorneys, and loyal volunteers makes our work possible. View the story of Wilsone, an Ayuda client who came to the United States from Honduras. He traveled alone when he was 11 years old. Ayuda helped

Wilsone obtain Special Immigrant

Juvenile Status and a work permit.

Cong. Luis Gutierrez, former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, Daniel Flores of The Greater Washington Board of Trade, and Maria Scalf and Adrianna Zellers of BB&T, were among the event's special guests.

Ayuda's 42nd Anniversary Celebration attracts close to 200 supporters!

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Ayuda's 42nd Anniversary Celebration. Together, we raised $92,000. Each $1,000 in donation will help a trafficking survivor to pay rent to build a safe life in our community. We thank Microsoft for hosting the event at the Microsoft Innovation & Policy Center.

Each new member possesses unique strengths and experiences that will better Ayuda as a whole.

A coalition of area-community leaders, including a member of Ayuda's staff, authored "Summit Report on Central American Children Seeking Refuge: A Washington, DC Regional Response to Protect Children Fleeing Violence" last spring.
