TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR CENTRE STAGES NEXT BIG SHOW "13"

Geek. Poser. Jock. Beauty Queen. Wannabe. These are the labels that can last a lifetime. With an unforgettable rock score from TONY Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a musical about fitting in - and standing out! With an array of teens "coming of age" in Centre stage right now, I knew this was a perfect musical to showcase their abundant talent, and expose them to theater they could really identify with. Our lead character, Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast paced, preteen New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. While he grapples with his parents' divorce, he is preparing for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigating the complicated social circles of a new school. Surrounded by an array of simpleminded middle school students, he needs to establish his place in the popularity pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?! We have all dangled on the edge of what we thought was impending disaster! How we handle it, is what really shows the world, and ourselves what we are made of. Evan makes plenty of mistakes on his road to self discovery, but his "true friends" help show him that its ok to fall, you have to put "one foot in front of the other, and just keep walking on."

The cast is comprised entirely of teenagers, but the stories that come to life here are ageless, the emotions they explore timeless, the laughter and the memories they provide priceless. 13 is the first and only Broadway musical to have an all Teenager cast and band to ever hit Broadway in the history of Broadway. As an audience member you most likely have never seen a production of "13". We hope you join us for this fun show to laugh, cry and reflect what it was like when you were 13!
