THE BOTANIC GARDENer -
July 2015

Deadline: 29th May

1. Book Review wanted

In the last issue of THE BOTANIC GARDENer, Ben Lyte shared his appreciation of Stearn's Dictionary of Plant Names and explained how it has helped him throughout  his horticultural career.

Is there a book or a reference that you have found professionally invaluable?

Would you be willing to share its attributes with your colleagues in the upcoming July issue?  Science, horticulture, education, marketing ... what's out there that we should know about?

Please contact Eamonn or Janelle if you are interested in contributing to the Book Review.

There is still time to  support and enhance your profession by contributing to the on-line BGANZ magazine, THE BOTANIC GARDENer.

The deadline for the July 2015 issue themed
Garden Tourism is 29 May and we are unlikely to accept submissions past this date. Our resolution is to limit the size of the magazine to 60 pages.

We encourage you to notify

[email protected] or our Managing Editor [email protected]

ASAP if you would like to discuss or submit an article/news item.

2. News items range from 200 - 400 words

The July issue is all about Garden Tourism

  • Is your organisation doing something innovative?
  • Have you any useful tips or read an interesting news item worth sharing?
