I have had several inquiries about how Ernestina-Morrissey weathered yesterday's blizzard. DCR staff were assigned to watch over Ernestina-Morrissey, still docked at New Bedford State Pier, during the storm. Check out the link to the website. Today they are clearing the deck of snow. Thank you to DCR for making Ernestina-Morrissey a priority.

Maritime Tall Tales in Song for AHA!

Join us at the Seamen's Bethel 15 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA.where we will share some maritime Tall Tales in song and celebrate a birthday.

Members of the New Bedford Harbor Sea Chantey Chorus will lead us in a chantey sing finishing with Happy Birthday to celebrate the 121st anniversary of Effie M. Morrissey (now Ernestina-Morrissey)'s launch. Come to sing and share some birthday cake!

February 12th from 6-7 pm.
