HC DrugFree and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) are partnering to provide Howard County teens with an online access code to ask NIDA experts about drugs, drug effects and drug abuse. Free Training to Save a Life!
Opioid Overdose Response Training
Opioids are prescription pain medicines such as Percocet or Vicodin and street drugs such as heroin. If your child, spouse or friend is abusing opioids, please consider attending the free training to be held on Monday, February 9 at 10:00 AM and Monday, March 23 at 10:00 AM at the Howard County Health Department on Stanford Blvd in Columbia. HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council Works on "Be a Parent, Not a Friend" Campaign
HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council (TAC) brainstormed at their meeting on the "Be a Parent, Not a Friend" campaign launched by HC DrugFree.



HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council (TAC) is open to all Howard County high school students and meets on one Monday evening a month at The Barn in the Oakland Mills Village Center. The next meeting is scheduled for February 9 from 5:30-7:00 PM. Please join us!
