Is there anything besides surgery to get rid of my double chin?
Kybella is a brand, new injectable just approved by the FDA to reduce a double chin. It is a liquid that is injected into the fat under the chin, and works by literally destroying fat cells. Most patients will require 3 - 4 treatments for optimal improvement, but each treatment only takes a few minutes. Up until now, we have not had a readily available non-surgical treatment to permanently reduce a double chin. However, with the approval of Kybella, we do now. We hope to start offering Kybella treatments as soon as they become available and will keep you posted.
