Topic: Kirkland Entrepreneurship: Now and in the Future Cost: $30 Prepaid Online/$35 Door Daniela Tudor and Henry Wong were the top winners of the Maker's Edition of Kirkland Startup Weekend. They both produced products that immediately began to sell after the event. They will share what it takes to create a new product in 3 days, the Startup Weekend experience, and the challenges of bringing their startup product to market. The discussion will be moderated by John Sechrest, Project Director at Seattle Angel Conference, Facilitator of Kirkland Startup Weekend, and Co-Manager of Impact Hub in Bellevue.
Also, we will hear from our next generation of entrepreneurs and business owners. Riley Kendall, 1st Place Winner of the Teen CEO Business Competition, and Anthony Humay, 2nd Place Winner of the Teen CEO Business Competition. Both are Juniors at Eastllake High School.

Networking Luncheon Thursday, June 4 11:30am-1:00pm Hosted by: Courtyard by Marriott, 11215 NE 124th St, Kirkland, WA 98034 The Business Networking Luncheon is a great way to introduce yourself to the Kirkland business community. Please make sure to bring business cards and any materials that you would like to pass out about your business.
There is no fee paid to the Chamber to attend the Business Networking Luncheon, however we do require that you order lunch from the establishment, and we encourage you to pay with cash. Each person will receive their own check for their order.

Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Thursday, June 4 5:30pm Hosted by: Twisted Couture, 127 Lake Street South, Suite B, Kirkland, WA 98033 Join us at Twisted Couture for their grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony! Twisted Couture is a new women's clothing boutique on Lake Street.
There is no fee to attend a ribbon cutting and it is a great way to show your support for new businesses opening in Kirkland. Be sure to attend!
