October 10, 2015 - Centre 200 Sydney
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sponsored by the Cape Breton/Richmond Federation of Agriculture

The Celtic Colours Farm and Food Fair event is a one day event located at Centre 200 in Sydney, Saturday October 10, 2015 from 10:00am to 5:00pm showcasing Cape Breton farm, fish and food products. This event is delivered in conjunction with the launch of the Celtic Colors International Festival.

This event is being organized to raise the public awareness of Cape Breton produced Farm and Food products, including seafood while at the same time providing a venue for producers to sell their locally produced wares.  Through this event we hope to create linkages between consumers, food producers and processors, restaurants, seafood and farm-related products.

In addition to Farm, Fish and Food Vendors, the event will be offering Chef Demonstrations, Educational Booths, Food Sampling and will feature a special "Sprouting Talent" stage with young local musicians.

This event will attract locals and tourists, in equal measure, who are looking for a taste of Cape Breton, to learn about our local Food Industry and to have some fun as well.  Our promotional campaign will begin in September and will include online advertising, social media, newspaper ads, radio and a special live radio promotion at the time of the event.  We hope to make this event the PREMIERE Local Food Event for Cape Breton presented at the peak of the harvest season!

If you are interested in being a vendor, demonstrator, sponsor or volunteer at this unique event please contact Maureen at 902-794-7633 or
