Project Sticker Shock in Troy

Volunteers from the Troy Community Coalition visited participating alcohol retailers to take part in Project Sticker Shock. Helpers placed bright orange warning stickers on multipacks of alcoholic beverages. The stickers are meant to remind individuals over age 21 of the legal consequences of providing alcohol to minors. Project Sticker Shock is implemented in the spring prior to prom and graduations season. Troy retailers have been enthusiastic partners in curtailing underage drinking.

The Birmingham Bloomfield Youth Action Board

The Birmingham Bloomfield Youth Action Board kicked off summer with a concert at the Birmingham Ice Arena, Friday June 12th.  Volunteers also participated in Project Sticker Shock.
