Discover Your Gifts 1-Day Workshop
Saturday, August 1

Join us for a special 1-day workshop on
Saturday, August 1 from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. During this time together we will explore our unique spiritual gifts from a Biblical perspective. There will be instruction from our spiritual gifts coaches and vibrant small group
discussion. We will use the Discover Your Gifts student book to learn together.

Neighborhood Ice Cream Socials
Folks all over Richmond are hosting ice cream socials this summer so you can
meet others who live in your community and learn more about the 10:25 Ministry. 10:25 small groups are based on the commandment in Hebrews 10:25 to
love one another and meet monthly for dinner and spiritual conversation.

Reserve your tickets for Faith Night at the Diamond
On Thursday, August 3, we're heading back to cheer on the Richmond Flying Squirrels during Faith Night at the Diamond! We can promise a great game, fellowship, special music, player testimonials, and fireworks. And if you really lucky, you might just get a special visit from Nutzy, just like our pal John did last year (see image).

Garage Student Ministries
Sr. High Youth Group ONLY this Sunday -- 70’s Night! -- 6:30-8:00 PM.
Please keep our middle school mission team in your prayers as they serve the Lord and the people of Washington, DC this week. Be sure to grab a prayer bracelet from the milling area today. Each prayer bracelet bears the name of a missioner as a visible reminder for you to hold that person in special prayer throughout the week.

Maintaining attractive and inviting grounds is an important value at Christ Church. A new Garden Guild is forming and you are invited to participate. Please consider volunteering!
- Upcoming Work Days: Thursdays, July 23 (today) and July 30 at 6:30 PM; and Saturdays, July 25 and August 1 at 8:30 AM.
- We hope to work at least 90 minutes each date, more if time allows.
- Come when you can, no need to commit to every meeting.
- All volunteers are welcome! Please bring gloves, kneeling pads, clippers or any other garden tools you like to use.
- The first focus will be cleaning up the Memorial Garden.

Children Sharing God's Love with Others
At Everest VBS last week, the children spent time each day learning about various missions in our community and creating a craft project for its constituents.
Please take a look at the children's beautiful handiwork and learn more about the missions supported. Special thanks to Becky Comstock for leading this Mission & Crafts station at VBS!
