TBC participates as a member of WI-ACT, Wilton Interfaith Action Committee, including projects such as the Stop Hunger Now meal packaging event. About 6 years ago, WI-ACT resettled a refugee Iraqi family that is doing well and living in Stamford.

Sisterhood's Women's
Tu BiSh'vat Seder
Sunday, January 24 -- 6:00-8:00 pm
-- Sharon Sobel's home: 8 Old Farm Road in Wilton
Tu BiSh'vat
is the holiday that marks the beginning of a "New Year for Trees." This is the season in which the earliest-blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.
We will drink the
fruit of the vine
and nourish our bodies with
fruits
and
nuts
symbolizing strength, creation, rebirth, and our spiritual and emotional ties with the Earth.

Share Our Simchas - Sponsor an Oneg!
A wonderful way of celebrating special happy occasions (simchas), such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, the birth of a child or grandchild, is by sharing your joy (nachas) with the entire congregation and sponsoring the Oneg Shabbat for the Friday
of your special week. We'll arrange for the food and set-up, all you do is send a minimum donation of $125. If you would like to sponsor an Oneg, please call or email the TBC office (203 544-8695 / tbc@templebnaichaim.org) and we'll pencil in your special Shabbat. In the words of the traditional Yiddish wish for birthdays, May you live to be 120 (the age achieved by Moses, and therefore considered to be the ideal lifespan). L'Chaim!
