Wishing You a Merry Christmas and Joyous Holiday Season!
The Kali's Cure family would like to thank you for your unwavering support and dedication throughout 2015!  Thanks to you, we had another successful year, raising over one quarter of a million dollars which is being put to use to help better the lives of those living with paralysis, primarily through SCI research and rehabilitation, as we wait for the ever-nearing cure!  In fact, because of you, we hit an exciting milestone this year when we presented Dr. Raymond Onders with a $50,000 contribution which put our total donations to the Diaphragm Pacing Program over $1/2 Million!

Because of your belief in our mission, we are happy to announce two new Christmas contributions.  We will be donating an additional $50,000 to Dr. Onders and his pacing program.  Our second contribution is the first of its kind for us...a Paramobile which is an adaptable golf cart that allows paralyzed, amputee and seriously wounded individuals to return to the golf course!  Col. Greg Gadson was the inspiration for this donation as we will be dedicating it in his honor to the foundation at Ft. Belvoir, where Greg was the Base Commander.  The Paramobile, which is not just a golf cart but an adaptable vehicle, can be used for countless other recreational activities that provide an excellent source of rehabilitation and will be available to our wounded Veterans in the DC area as well as civilians using the golf course.  In fact, this donation will help kick off the SAVE Alliance's Spartan Weekend (more information below).

This summer will mark the 9th an nual Kali's Cure Golf Outing and Auction at Dunmaglas Golf Club in Charlevoix, MI.  Although we are excited to be part of a new endeavor in May, planning for our summer event in Charlevoix is already in full swing!  Each year, we are encouraged to see more participants  and special guests.  Between our sponsors and auction contributors, we brought in more donations than ever!  Although our goal was to raise our second million dollars by the conclusion of our 10th event, it appears increasingly possible that we could reach that milestone a year early!  More information will follow in the new year.
