What's a Jew to do on Christmas?  Spend it at Temple of course!  After the Kabbalat Shabbat Service, enjoy Chinese Take-Out Dinner and family-friendly game night.

Soft drinks, coffee, tea, snacks, and desserts provided by Sisterhood.

Members: $10/person, $7.50/child (12 and under)
Non-Members: $15/person, $10/child (12 and under)

EESY Shabbat

Don't miss our Camp Newman style Shabbat service created and led by our very own EESY senior youth group board on January 8 at 7:00 PM!  Get to know our amazing teen leaders as they share their Shabbat service with the congregation, and enjoy music led by our very own Camp Newman song leader Robin Kofl.  We assure you it will be a great service for all ages and one your children will definitely enjoy. We look forward to seeing you!

Welcome Back BBQ with Prospective Members

Join our Religious School families for a back from winter break delicious BBQ lunch provided by Brotherhood.  Come tour the Temple and facilities, meet our clergy, leadership, and congregation, and have fun in the process.  Prospective members are welcome and we'd love to see you there.  No RSVP is required.  The fun begins at 12:30 PM.
Mitzvah
Mitzvah Day 2016

On Mitzvah Day, you can donate at the collection centers, volunteer for hands-on activities, and learn at the information booths.  Everyone can participate on Mitzvah Day.  
Religious School students should participate with their families.
Activities include: Making care packages for shelters and homeless individuals, preparing and serving food for a residence shelter, making caring cards and Valentine's Day cards for seniors and soldiers, conducting Temple clean-up and enhancement projects, visiting seniors at Chai House and much much more!
Donation opportunities include: Goodwill donations, bike donations for Good Karma, EESY will be collecting coins, The Lions' Club will be collecting reading glasses, Reading Partners will be collecting gently used books, e-waste collections, and food donations for Second Harvest.

Celebrating Shabbat with Craig Taubman

Enjoy a 6:30 PM wine and cheese reception followed by a 7:30 PM Rock Shabbat service with Craig Taubman!  This service has no charge and is open to all.  There will be a special meet & greet with Craig Taubman during the oneg and CDs will be available for purchase.

Mah Jongg Cards 2016

Calling all Mah Jongg Players!  It is that time again... Time to reorder cards to the 2016 year.  Get the call out to all your Mah Jongg players and games.  Gather their information and money and remit to Harriet Saltzman, via the Sisterhood mailbox in the Temple Administrative Office.

This is a Sisterhood fundraiser and the more individual card ordered, the more money they get.  Checks may be made out to Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood.

$8.00 for standard (small) card and $9.00 for the large print card.
