A New INNitiative!
Center for Transformative Change 108 Madison Avenue
New Facility Scheduled to Open January 2016
The INN is proud to announce a new facility, set to open in January, 2016. The Center for Transformative Change (CTC) will offer social service referrals and clothing distribution to Long Islanders in need of assistance. This INNitiative was made possible by a donation of the entire building, (which is conveniently located right next door to the Mary Brennan INN) from the Cohen Family Foundation and renovated through a donation from the Alley Charitable Trust. It will house a free clothing "boutique" on the first floor with an expanded section for career and interview attire, along with social service assistance referrals and various learning classes on the second floor. The facility will be completely staffed by volunteers.
According to Executive Director Jean Kelly, the goal of the CTC is to "use a holistic approach to galvanize all resources. Eventually our hope is for guests of The INN, along with other members of the community, to leave their current circumstances behind and attain economic independence."

To all of our volunteers, donors and advocates, we are truly grateful and humbled by your generosity and passion. We simply could not exist if it were not for each one of you. From our INN family to yours, we wish you a happy holiday and joyous New Year!
