The battle for truth is coming to a town near you. In our case that means South Haven. Last week our teens who attend the high school were subjected to an assault no less deadly than most others that might confront them. No one shot them, or kidnapped them, but they were held captive to an assembly where an openly gay lifestyle was heralded as valid and normal, even desirable. Now let's be clear, our church affirms the gospel message that all are welcome and all can be forgiven. We love people and we desire that all should hear the truth. But the lie of those in love with diversity, means that only the most repugnant of belief systems and practices are protected while those who hold to absolute biblical truth as the standard for our morality are intimidated and belittled by claims of ignorance and prejudice. Our teens behaved with character as they lovingly approached their elders who ought to know better. Is there a better way for the public school to serve us? If we must live amongst the lies of the world's system, then allow lovers of truth to seek their guidance from the hands of those who love God more than self. MJC

Have a great week!

For March
The beauty of family means that communication flows two ways: from home to abroad and back. That benefits all of us who care about the Gospel.
  • Todd and Jennifer Janes: Pray for their little one, Josiah, who is struggling with a medical issue that has required that the Janes return to the states for consultation in Washington. Pray for them.
  • Please pray for the family of Dean Brown. Dean's memorial service was this past Saturday and honored God with the same spirit as Dean carried into each and every VBS or Bible release time. Important decisions are being made about their home and Cheryl's future. Pray for them.
