DELTA: Just a quick update about the CBI. I'm so proud to be a part of the US family.
I'm excited ... it looks like we are ready to finish the final chapter.
We have some confirmation about the article came out about the 50 dinar ... the 1,000 dinar ... the 100,000 dinars ... basically the confirmation from the CBI ... they stated that the CBI is planning to increase the value of the Iraqi Dinar BEFORE they introduce those denominations.
Remember we've been debating ... which is going to come first ... the chicken or the egg?
It's looking like a 90% chance they will introduce the 50 and 100 dinar notes are the same time ... and they will be worth about 50k to 100k ... basically equal to a $100 bill.

FDI will jump start Zimbabwe's development

Zimbabwe has been grappling with development challenges for some time now and understandably so given that the country has had a prolonged history of confrontation with its traditional business partners in the West following a fall out over land reform.
Writers of all sorts both domestic and foreign have had their say rightly or wrongly on why Zimbabwe's economy experienced severe difficulties in the last two decades or so.
Seriously speaking, the UK government under Prime Minister Blair went on the offensive very much unnecessarily and campaigned vigorously to discredit Harare on virtually insecure political grounds.

| Zim: Economical Growth & Strengthening Lender Ties
'Zim Economy To Record 3,2% Marginal Growth'
Zimbabwe's economy is set to record marginal increases in gross domestic product (GDP) this year and in 2016 on the back of a planned investment in infrastructure projects, according to a new report released yesterday.

"Real GDP is projected to marginally improve to 3,2% in 2015. This projected marginal improvement will be on the back of planned investments in agriculture, mining, communications and other infrastructure projects," the African Economic Outlook 2015 said.
Real GDP is expected to grow to 3,3% next year, the report said.
The report was a joint effort by the African Development Bank (AfDB), OECD and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

THANKS "denaridori" ... what an incredible answer to prayer! I've been swamped in trying to get my son ready for church camp tonight, so I haven't had a chance to go back and listen to the replay to catch what I missed.

IMF official: Chinese yuan no longer undervalued
BEIJING-- China's currency is no longer undervalued, a senior official of the International Monetary Fund said Tuesday.
"While undervaluation of the renminbi (yuan) was a major factor causing the large imbalances in the past, our assessment now is that the substantial real effective appreciation over the past year has brought the exchange rate to a level that is no longer undervalued," IMF first deputy managing director David Lipton said.
