For Chamber Members: TBGH Survey
|
Dear Chamber Members;
We have a unique opportunity to support and bring attention to the good work Texas employers are doing to enhance the quality of life in their workplaces and in their communities.
The Temple Chamber of Commerce and other local chambers across Texas are collaborating with the Texas Business Group on Health, a nonprofit employer coalition committed to improving health and health care for Texans, to conduct a survey of worksite wellness policies and programs. The survey will generate a snapshot of the state of employer-sponsored wellness programs in Texas and provide opportunities for interested employers to learn more about the wellness-related strategies at other Texas companies.
This important project will produce useful information that local Chambers can use to promote our communities. It will also help the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Section, the survey sponsor, to support Texas employers' wellness initiatives, with free and low cost resources and networking opportunities focused on timely wellness topics.
We encourage you to participate, whether you have a formal wellness plan or not. Your input is critical. Participating employers that provide contact information will be eligible for drawing prizes like Fitbits and Magic Bullets.
TBGH will protect the confidentiality of individual employer responses, releasing only aggregate results. Separate from a summary of the survey results, TBGH will send DSHS a list of respondents with contact information, if you choose to provide it, for follow up with any services you request. The online survey is composed of about 20 multiple-choice questions and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Click here https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/K6LBGD6 to begin the survey.
The deadline to submit your responses is July 30.
If you have any questions, please contact Judy Hoffman, TBGH Project Manager, at 214.794.6672 or
[email protected].
Sincerely, Rod Henry, President
