Sat 6/6, noon
Volunteer. After Party. After-After Party.

Microsoft Volunteer Teams
Volunteer with Microsoft!

Join hundreds of your Microsoft colleagues on Seattle Works Day, Sat 6/6! With five volunteer sites to choose from and two after parties, this day should be a memorable day of giving-back and kicking-back!

After you volunteer, join your fellow Seattle Works Day volunteers at the Seattle Center for the after-party with free food, beer, cider, and games.
Sign-up now and receive an exclusive invitation to a special after-after party to view the Sounders FC match with the Gorilla FC volunteer team!

With project options all over, including the Eastside (!), and fun celebrations planned after - there's no excuse not to! So grab some teammates, sign up, do some good, and party on.

Spruce Up the Dog Park at Jose Rizal Park!

Dr Jose Rizal Park Off-Leash area is an underused park.  Because of its reputation for muddiness, lack of washing stations, and few other dogs to play with, it remains under-trafficked. Seattle Works Day volunteers will pitch in by weeding, cleaning and re-graveling the stairway.

Improve a Playground
 at Viewlands Elementary!

Volunteers will help with outdoor tasks that will breathe new life into the playground! Tasks will include: rejuvenating the field by filling holes, adding topsoil; painting game lines on asphalt; creating playground murals; and giving the whale mascots a new coat of paint!

Build a Wildlife Habitat in Seward Park!

The Seward Park Audubon Center inspires audiences to conserve natural ecosystems and build healthy communities for people, birds and wildlife. Volunteers will help prepare a site at Seward Park for planting in the fall by cutting back invasive plants and covering planting sites with burlap and woodchips.

Support Opening Day at Squak Mountain!

Pitch in at Opening Day of this new addition to King County Parks! This parkland will connect popular Cougar and Tiger Mountain trails, creating over 100 miles of wooded trails for hikers to enjoy. Seattle Works Day volunteers will remove English ivy to keep this forest healthy and thriving.

Restore the BirdLoop at Marymoor Park

The BirdLoop is home to 200+ species of birds and the best viewing area in Marymoor Park. Volunteers will control non-native plants that, if left unchecked, will overwhelm native plants that are essential to a healthy greenspace. Your work will promote a diverse ecosystem where birds can nest, forage and hide.
